Effie's Restaurant & Bar

We frequent this establishment at least once a week but it’s usually more often. The menu is vast and has something for everyone. I do love the beef stroganoff! This evening we were served by Kirsten in the bar as well as Mookie and Robin in the restaurant. Ramon, the chef, knocks it out of the park each time. He’s extremely consistent. All are friendly and efficient. We really enjoy and appreciate the “themed decor” the owners daughter creates. She certainly has a talent for making the restaurant festive!

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and every visit has been nothing short of fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly and fast, and the portions are very generous for a very reasonable price. I’ve tried several dishes, and each one has impressed me. I’ve had their carne asada tacos, philly cheese chicken, patty melt, smashed burger, nachos, clubhouse, prawn cocktail and chicken tortellini soup. Their desserts are truly next level! The pistachio cake is so light and flavorful, the chocolate temptation cake is so rich, but the real showstopper is their crème brûlée. It’s served inside a fresh pineapple. The top is the classic crème brûlée and the bottom has a layer of caramelized pineapple. It’s absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this place.

Came on a Saturday morning and the place is really chill and not hectic! You don’t have wait too long for food! (Honestly the atmosphere is really nice and the chairs are plushy so we ended up just relaxing and talking and didn’t really notice the time.) We have a family member with autism who is very fixated on eating the same items every time he comes here and our server Alfonso was super accommodating and actually gave us a couple extra options so that our family member could get all the items he wanted without putting in multiple orders for different things! I’m a very slow person on picking food and Alfonso recommended the Chorizo skillet, which was super good! (I’ve never had good chorizo before so it was also really eye opening.) Another family member had the Back Home omelette and it was really fluffy! Like, I’m used to eating “omelettes” that are kind of flattened out so this place’s omelette was so soft and fluffy and we were so surprised that we ended up sharing it around the table. Thanks for a great breakfast!

A family favorite for years! We go here for every Easter and Mother's Day. Customer service is top notch, especially Alanso (hope I'm spelling his name right!) They are cozy, old school, friendly, with a great variety of delicious food, awesome service no matter who assists you, and they do such a great job decorating for every holiday. We keep coming back to Effie's many times a year for their consistent excellence, and hope to continue coming back for many years to come. Gina! The food! The atmosphere! There is nothing better! We’ve been coming to Effie’s every Sunday for breakfast, and it’s truly the highlight of our week. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently perfect. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and feels like home, which is why we keep coming back. What really makes Effie’s special, though, is Gina. She’s absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always remembers our usual order with a smile. She goes above and beyond to make sure every visit feels personal and welcoming. Gina’s positive energy sets the tone for the whole meal and makes every Sunday morning something to look forward to. Effie’s is a true gem in the community — great food, amazing service, and the kind of genuine hospitality that’s hard to find these days. We’re so grateful for Gina and the entire Effie’s team for making every breakfast feel like a little celebration. Highly recommend — you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

I enjoy the food and service at Effie's. There is no wait time as they have plenty of tables inside and out to seat you quickly. The food is very good at reasonable prices and the staff are on top of things by seating you swiftly, getting you water, menu and your order in a timely fashion. My favorite waiter is Alfonso who is always cheerful, makes excellent food suggestions and adds to the overall dining experience.

Alfonso was very attentive and gave great food suggestions. The lamb shank and prime rib dip were well made and so very tasty.
